About RIVERSONGHEART

RiverSongHeart Animals are vibrant artisan gifts for yourself and your loved ones. The free-spirited animals in the RiverSongHeart Collection emerge to remind you of joy and play. Animal energy is so beautiful and vibrant and full of love! They are wise teachers in the ways of life, reminding you that you’re wonderful just as you are, encouraging you to play, to be loving, to stay present. Every hand-painted animal in this collection has a story - each one can be a guide, or simply a pleasure.

Each animal starts their journey being painted slowly by hand, before local, professional artisan printers create stunning quality art prints and cards, which are then lovingly eco-packaged to arrive wrapped in your arms.

The artist, RiverSongHeart, lives in the medieval market town of Totnes in Devon, UK. The little studio where the colourful animals come to life sits at the top of the hill, near 13th century healing wells and a walled garden filled with meadow flowers. Totnes is a fascinating town, known for its environmental awareness and natural healing practices. It is the flagship ‘Transition Town’ – which is the global movement supporting the transition away from fossil fuels. All of RiverSongHeart’s packaging is plastic-free and recyclable or biodegradable.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Rosa Weber (MA) is the painter-poet RiverSongHeart. She was born in London, UK. She worked in Arts and Charity sectors in London, before moving to Devon, UK. Here she could listen to her creativity, connecting to the call of the wild. She launched RiverSongHeart in 2020:

“Each painting is a response to the growing global need for compassionate sustainability, as well as our need for joy. Each brushstroke is intended to send loving kindness to the animal and to mother nature. The animals and mother nature are my creative guides. They are our kin - for as we are animals, so they are us. Every day I dream of a wilder, kinder world, where all living beings are free to grow, to live, to be. I know it is possible for humans to live in harmony with animals, the earth and each other - I want my paintings to evoke this possibility, to remind people that we are all connected, sharing the same home: earth. I hope to bring people joy through connection.”
